WELCOME FROM LYNN TIMMONS – CHAIR, LUCID 2025 ORGANISING COMMITTEE

I am delighted to welcome you on behalf of the LUCID Organising Committee, and I am honoured to have taken on the role of Chair of the Committee for LUCID 2025.

I think everyone will agree that LUCID 2023 in York was a huge success and will be hard to follow.

The committee is, however, very excited to announce that LUCID 2025 will be held in Birmingham on the 19-20 May 2025.

Birmingham is a multi-cultural city with lots to offer; it is England’s second biggest economic city outside London.  It’s only 1hr 30 from London and 4 hours from Edinburgh.  It is serviced by Birmingham airport which has daily flights from Dublin and Edinburgh.

We have taken on board your feedback from LUCID 2023 and the event will be held at The Eastside Rooms; a new conference centre which has an adjoining hotel.

As a committee, we will aim to deliver an affordable, educational, fun and accessible conference for Life Insurance specialists of all levels. It will provide an opportunity to network, socialise and discuss issues which matter to you with peers. We’ll hear from some of the leading medical speakers about the issues we face today, innovations and advancements in our market and offer a forward-looking lens to see how things may change in the years to come.  We will also aim to make sure that LUCID will be sustainable going forward.

We hope that LUCID 2025 will once again attract over 300 delegates as we aim to cater for a diverse and international audience of insurance professionals.

As the organising committee continues to work behind the scenes, we look forward to sharing more developments on how the event is progressing in due course and we’ll be providing regular updates through the industry clubs and our social media platforms.
